Rosie O’Donnell Blasts ‘Glee’s’ Chubby-Chasing Storyline

Comic and TV talk show star Rosie O’Donnell, a big fan of the Fox series "Glee," is not happy with the recent storyline featuring actress Ashley Fink as Lauren Zizes, Access Hollywood reports.

O’Donnell declared that the full-figure actress, who’s being pursued by a hot guy, actor Mark Salling’s character Puckerman, is hitting the wrong note.

“Every woman I know who’s heavy has strong feelings about that storyline. They’re like, ‘Can you believe that? I think that’s horrible. That never happens in school,’" O’Donnell said.

Despite her criticism, O’Donnell has faith that the writers will find a way to make the storyline work. “I trust Ryan and Brad,” she said, referring to show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. “I know that [Lauren] is going to have a voice and I know maybe Puck’s going to break her heart, or she’s going to break Puck’s heart. Something’s going to happen and she’s going to come out and sing something like, ‘I Am What I Am.’”

  1. Will this loud mouth blow hard ever learn. Why are we still call her a star she is doesn’t deserve to be listened to.

  2. You don’t deserve listen to when can’t talk goodly English! Take a grammar lesson, dummy!

  3. She deserves an opinion as much as anyone else. I can see her point, but this kind of situation is exactly why Glee is such a good show!

  4. Really a dummy who died and made you the grammer QUEEN! She gets fired from everything she gets involved in because of her remarks.

  5. I’m pretty tired of morons using texting protocol as their guide on how to write and speak English, and them when called out on it, whining about the “grammar police!” Anyone who knows how to speak and write correctly has an obligation to save us from idiots who actually say things in public like “OMG!” and “WTF!. Yes, I’ve heard idiots verbalize these expressions that, while they may be acceptable when texting, are NOT acceptable when speaking or writing. I’m calling on everyone with a brain to HELP SAVE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE FROM EXTINCTION NOW!
