Barbra Streisand is expressing regret after letting slip a comment that is seen as an insult to the Fox musical show “Glee.”
The singer was asked Friday whether she would ever consider a role on "Glee," and responded, "Not if I can help it," according to The Hollywood Reporter. But now Streisand is rethinking her comment, writing on her Web site that her response was wrong.
"When asked if I would ever appear on ‘Glee,’ I should have said, ‘You never know.’ It was wrong to say, ‘Not if I can help it,’ " she wrote, according to the piece.
She added that she had been "overwhelmed" preparing for her performance on MusiCares, the Grammys, recording a new album and starting a new movie. "So I couldn’t take on any more work, and besides that, I wasn’t asked. I’m so honored that a lead character on ‘Glee’ is so admiring of my work.," she wrote.
After her crappy, out of breath and off key performance at the Grammy’s, who would want her?
Shame she retracted. Glee is the most over-rated show ever, Jane Lynch is the only good thing about it
