An award-winning star of the Food Network has inked a new deal that will keep him on the network through 2014, Deadline.com reports.

The star is Alton Brown, who appears on the channel’s "Good Eats" and "Iron Chef America." The new pact will have Brown developing new series and appearing on a variety of shows, including guest spots on two episodes of the network’s highest-rated show, “Food Network Star.”

A fourth season of “The Next Iron Chef” is set to debut in October, with Season 10 of “Iron Chef America” on tap for summer. In addition, Brown will star in and produce a series of one-hour Thanksgiving-themed “Good Eats” specials.
