Two CBS comedy pilots have tapped former "Melrose Place" star Heather Locklear and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actress Michelle Trachtenberg, reports EW.com’s Inside TV blog.

Locklear will appear in the comedy pilot "The Assistants," about a group of assistants to a neurotic celebrity played by Locklear, the story notes.

Trachtenberg has been tapped for an untitled pilot about employees of a venture capital firm, with Trachtenberg playing a mailroom worker who gets promoted to a junior associate role, the story notes.
