Lifetime has announced that it is bringing back the hospital documentary series “One Born Every Minute” for a second season, Deadline.com reports. The show has received an order for 10 new episodes.
The series focuses on the maternity ward in a Columbus, Ohio, hospital. It premiered Feb. 1, with the debut episode ranking as the network’s most-watched unscripted premiere in more than a year in women 18-49 and adults 18-49, the story reports. It has averaged 831,000 total viewers for the season.
The show was one of the first buys for Lifetime President Nancy Dubuc.
