“Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre was quick to respond to a $100 million lawsuit filed against him and Warner Bros. by Charlie Sheen, TMZ.com reported.
Lorre’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, called the allegations against Lorre in the lawsuit “as recklessly false and unwarranted as Mr. Sheen’s rantings in the media."
"These accusations are simply imaginary,” the attorney told TMZ. “This lawsuit is about a fantasy ‘lottery’ payday for Charlie Sheen."
As reported earlier, Sheen filed the lawsuit after being fired Monday by Warner Bros., which submitted an 11-page letter to Sheen alleging that his bad behavior was responsible for stopping production of the hit CBS show.
Weitzman also told TMZ: "Chuck Lorre’s concern has been and continues to be about Mr. Sheen’s health."
