Bravo host and executive Andy Cohen has revealed that "The Real Housewives of Miami" will be the last of the franchise that began with "The Real Housewives of Orange County," reports OKMagazine.com.

According to the story: "Cohen was adamant about there being no further ‘Real Housewives’ editions. He said, ‘I really feel like we’re done.’ He reiterated that ‘Miami’ will be the final incarnation. Cohen was not opposed to spinoffs, however, explaining that Bravo is happy with the success of ‘Bethenny Ever After,’ which emanated from ‘The Real Housewives of New York.’"

The story adds: "Cohen would like to see Atlanta superstar singer Whitney Houston pop up on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ Cohen said, ‘I’d like to see her shake things up with those women.’”

Houston has starred on a Bravo reality series before, "Being Bobby Brown," when she was still married to singer Bobby Brown.

  1. Thank God, somoeone knows when they have jumped the shark; and is willing to stop rolling these shows out past when their entertainment value ends.

  2. The Real Housewives has done agreat job of bringing more diversity to t.v. I do feel that the Atlanta chapter did a great job of exposing African Americans to the greater white audiences that most t.v. exects and advertiser want. Now we know, White Americans will support diversity on t.v. in a major way. Thanks Housewives…we really need more diversity on t.v.
