Oprah Winfrey has revealed a few details about planning for the final days of her syndicated daytime talker “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The last show will air May 25, the show’s producer, Harpo Productions, announced Friday. Winfrey said new episodes will bow April 7 and she has been “hard at work planning the final shows,” the story says.
She has said that she is leaving the planning for the last two episodes up to her team at Harpo, headed by President Sheri Salata. "I’m allowing for Sheri and the team to plan two days of full surprises,” she told the publication. “I’ve given up control for the last two days. It’s a lot to relinquish. I had to pray on that…. and get a guarantee from Sheri there would be no strippers or dancing people coming out of shells."
