The former "Oprah Winfrey Show" studio and offices in Chicago will be tranformed into the home of a new talk show to be featured on Winfrey’s new OWN network, People magazine reports.

Rosie O’Donnell is taking over the venue, which will serve as headquarters to her talk show. O’Donnell video-blogged the news Monday night on her website.

The message said, "I just wanted to say hi, and I’m coming to Chicago. It’s a huge thrill for me, and I’m beyond the beyond."

Winfrey confirmed the news via a statement: "I’m delighted to welcome Rosie to the studio I’ve called home for so many years. Speaking from experience, she will be working with the best team in television in one of the greatest cities in the world."
