Tickets for Charlie Sheen’s two live shows sold out in minutes over the weekend, according to the L.A. Times’ Show Tracker blog. Meanwhile, TLC announced plans for a one-hour documentary titled “Charlie Sheen: On the Brink.”

Sheen’s shows April 2 in Detroit and April 3 in Chicago–a mini-tour dubbed “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option”–reportedly sold out in under 20 minutes, with tickets priced from $35 to $80. Sheen has said he will donate $1 from each ticket to relief efforts related to the earthquake in Japan.

The TLC documentary is slated for March 20 and will reportedly revisit Sheen’s recent media rants. It will also feature comments from Mackenzie Phillips focusing on celebrity addiction and recovery issues, the Times story reports.

  1. Oh what a great guy! $1 out of each $35 to $80 ticket for a charitable cause. I can’t believe people are going to pay to see him ramble like an idiot.
