Singer Chris Brown got visibly upset when he appeared on ABC’s "Good Morning America" to promote a new album and was asked by Robin Roberts about his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, whom Brown was accused of beating, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker blog.

After the interview and a performance of his new song "Yeah 3x," Brown stormed back to his dressing room, the story says. The show’s staff heard loud sounds and called security, and when Brown and his entourage left shortly afterwards, the staff found that a window in the dressing room had been smashed.

ABC doesn’t plan to press charges against Brown in the incident, which the article notes could have affected his probation if police got involved.

Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault in the 2009 altercation with Rihanna and is currently serving a five-year probation, the story notes.

  1. Let me understand this. The guy is at a place of business (ABC), and decides to smash a window. He leaves, does not get arrested, and the next day, GMA Host Robin Roberts says (on air) “we would love to have him back.”
    What am I missing here?
