After almost five years as anchor of the “CBS Evening News,” Katie Couric will go out with a bang tonight, USA Today reports. Following President Obama’s speech on the Mideast, Couric will join Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for an interview at the State Department.

The Clinton interview is set for 6:30 p.m. ET. Couric is being replaced on the broadcast by Scott Pelley, and is expected to start work on a daytime talk show.
