The Showtime drama "Dexter" has tapped Colin Hanks, the son of Tom Hanks, for a story arc in the show’s sixth season, reports TVLine.com.

The specifics of his role are being kept under tight wraps, the story says. Hanks has previously appeared in the television series "Roswell" and plays Father Gill, a young Catholic priest, in the AMC show "Mad Men."
