On a night of season finales for many shows–including NBC’s “Chuck” and CBS’s “Hawaii Five-0,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Mad Love” and “Mike & Molly”–the biggest ratings splash by far was made by “Dancing With the Stars,” which pushed ABC to a huge win for the night, TVbytheNumbers.com reported.

ABC averaged a 4.1 rating in adults 18-49 for the night, well ahead of Fox (2.7 average), CBS (2.5), Univision (1.5) and NBC (1.3). The margin was even greater in total viewers, where ABC averaged 18.7 million to CBS’s 8.0 million, Fox’s 7.4 million, NBC’s 4.3 million and Univision’s 3.6 million.

At 8 p.m. "Dancing" was tops with a 3.9 average rating for the hour in the 18-49 demo, while Fox’s "House" delivered a 3.5. CBS’s "How I Met Your Mother" and "Mad Love" reached a 3.0 and a 2.1, respectively, in the same demo, while NBC’s "Chuck" and CW’s "90210" had a 1.5 and a 0.8, respectively.

At 9 p.m. "Dancing" surged to a 5.0 in the 18-49 demo to win the hour. At 9:30, CBS’s "Mike & Molly" wrapped for the season with a 2.5 in the 18-49 demo. Fox’s "The Chicago Code" and NBC’s "The Event" scored a 1.9 and a 1.3, respectively, and CW’s "Gossip Girl" had a 0.7 for the hour.

The 10 p.m. hour went to ABC’s "Castle," another season finale, with a 3.3 in the 18-49 demo. CBS’s "Hawaii Five-0" logged a 2.5 and NBC’s "Law & Order: LA" settled for a 1.1.
