Fox’s “American Idol” set a series low for a performance finale Tuesday night with a 6.2 average rating in the 18-49 demo, down 7% from last season’s performance finale, TVbytheNumbers.com reported. At 8 p.m. "American Idol’s" mean score of 6.2 in the 18-49 demo led the hour, while hour one of NBC’s "The Biggest Loser" had an average of 2.8 in the same demo.
