Gary Coleman’s Body Still Unburied, Almost a Year After His Death

Almost a year after his death, the body of former child star Gary Coleman still hasn’t been buried, according to the New York Post.

His remains are in limbo as his ex-wife and his parents battle over his estate, the story notes. The burial delay was revealed by his former manager, Vic Perillo, who wrote in an essay published by WENN.com that the current status of Coleman’s remains "was not the sendoff he deserved."

Coleman died May 28, 2010, after a fall that led to a brain hemorrhage, at the age of 42. Perillo didn’t say where the body was being stored, although the Post article notes it’s believed to be at a Utah funeral home.

Coleman is best known for his role as Arnold in “Diff’rent Strokes” in the late ‘70s and ‘80s, who immortalized the catchphrase "What’chu talkin’ ’bout, Willis?"

The Post article adds: “The size of his estate is not clear–but its major assets appear to be a home in Utah valued at $315,000 and a collection of toy trains.”
