‘Jersey Shore’ Italy Trip Postponed After Show Is Denied Permits to Shoot Landmarks

The Italian city of Florence has pulled shooting permits for MTV’s "Jersey Shore" at some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including the Uffizi gallery and the Palazzo Vecchio, reports RadarOnline.com.

The permit hassle has delayed the cast’s trip to Italy and the show’s plans to tape in Florence, the story says. The producers had already rented a townhouse in the city before Florence Mayor Matteo Renzi decided to pull some of the permits.

A number of “Jersey Shore” stars, including The Situation, Pauly D and Vinny, were already taped arriving at the airport with suitcases before they were told the trip was off, the story reports.

It has previously been reported that the show will not be allowed to film the cast members drinking.

  1. Finally, someone with some sense has stepped in on this embarassment to all Americans – no matter their nationality.
