NBCUniversal has hired a new senior vice president and chief talent officer, with the job going to someone who is well-known in the business, Deadline.com reports. The new exec is WME partner Cara Stein, who will oversee talent management across the board, including hiring staff, recruiting talent and training.

Stein has received similar offers over the years from the networks and has declined, choosing to remain an agent until now.

In a statement, NBCU’s EVP Pat Fili-Krushel said: “Cara is widely known and highly regarded in our industry for identifying talent and developing careers. I am delighted she’ll be joining our team and bringing her extensive experience and dynamic personality to NBCUniversal.”
