Keith Olbermann’s new show on Current TV has lined up some familiar faces to take part in the show, including a well-known comedian and two successful documentary filmmakers, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker blog.

Filmmakers Michael Moore and Ken Burns, along with comedian Richard Lewis, have signed on as contributors, the story says.

"I’m delighted and honored that so many of my friends–who are not coincidentally among the top progressive and entertainment voices in the country today–will be joining me," Olbermann said in a statement.

Burns, who has won seven Emmy Awards for documentary series such as "The Civil War" and "Baseball," has been open about his political beliefs, once giving a speech called "Why I Am a Yellow Dog Democrat," the article notes.

Olbermann’s new show–which will be titled “Countdown With Keith Olbermann,” the same as his previous show on MSNBC–debuts June 20.
