The Sunday airing of "Game of Thrones" was watched by 2.4 million viewers, up from the previous two weeks’ 2.2 million viewers, the story says.
With the show’s 11 p.m. airing added in, a total of 3.1 million viewers tuned in, higher than the show’s previous high mark of 2.9 million, the story says.
The premiere episode, meanwhile, has been adding to its total via multiple HBO platforms. Combined viewership for the episode has climbed to 8.7 million.
