The new show "Why Not? With Shania Twain" earned Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network its highest debut ratings since the network’s premiere weekend in January, reports B&C.
The show follows the former country superstar as she struggles to reclaim her career and rediscover her singing voice after years out of the public eye. It drew 839,000 total viewers on Sunday at 11 p.m., the story says.
OWN has been struggling to draw viewers since its debut, and on May 6 announced that Discovery executive Peter Liguori would be replacing Chief Executive Christina Norman, the piece notes.
"Why Not?" will move to its permanent time period on Sundays at 10 p.m. on May 15, the story adds.
