On the heels of its successful “Teen Mom” reality show, MTV is working on a project with a similar approach–focused again on a mistake many young people make.
This time the subject is high school dropouts, and the network hopes the show will inspire young people to stay in school and pursue a career, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed.
The project comes after "Teen Mom" has drawn criticism from media watchdogs who say the shows portray young people who shouldn’t be role models.
The project on high school dropouts is early in its development stage and decisions about what form the documentary project will take are still being made, the report says.
