Aaron Sorkin is working on an HBO miniseries about the famed Los Angeles hotel Chateau Marmont, reports Deadline.com

"The Office" star John Krasinski has been behind the show’s development and will executive produce with Sorkin, along with Chateau Marmont’s current owner, Andre Balazs, and his daughter Alessandra, the story notes.

Krasinski is also expected to play a role in the miniseries, which will be based on the book "Life at the Marmont," by former Chateau Marmont co-owner Raymond R. Sarlot and Fred Basten.

Originally an apartment building and now a hotel, Chateau Marmont has hosted stars such as Bette Davis, Judy Garland, Keanu Reeves and Lindsay Lohan, with James Dean auditioning there for "Rebel Without a Cause" and F. Scott Fitzgerald suffering a heart attack at the hotel, the story notes.
