Al Gore’s Got One, and Now Sarah Palin Wants One Too

Former Vice President of the United States Al Gore’s got one, and now Sarah Palin wants one too.

We’re talking about an Emmy, of course.

" ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska,’ which was executive produced by ‘Survivor’s’ Mark Burnett and Palin, [has been submitted for Emmy] consideration in four categories — Outstanding Reality Show, Cinematography, Picture Editing, and Music Composition," reports our friend Lynette Rice at EW.com’s Inside TV blog.

Rice adds, "Should the TLC show score a nomination and actually win in the reality category, Palin would be eligible to receive her first golden statue. That begs the question: What on earth will she wear to the show?"

Gore won an Emmy in 2007 for creative achievement in interactive television for Current TV. That year Gore also picked up an Academy Award for the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth."

  1. You’ve got to be kidding! Not in my lifetime would those Hollywood Libs ever agree to give Palin anything even similar to their accolades given to Gore and his ruse documentary (notice how they have “conveniently” changed the phrase from global warming to climate change!). And, how infantile that you would even be concerned what she would wear… deerskin (or caribou) of course, stupid! You Progressive Libs fascinate me, in addition to being simply ignorant of facts with your heads in a PC cloud!!!

  2. Wow, Gary, I want to party with you. You sound like a lot of fun! Chill out fella.
