Backstage Tensions Reported at ‘The Voice’–Is It All About Aguilera’s Big Salary and Entourage?

Some judges on NBC’s breakout hit "The Voice" are reportedly feeling tensions backstage, as the salary difference between pop star Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and other judges is creating ill will, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

Aguilera is reportedly receiving $225,000 per episode, while Levine is making $75,000 per show, the story notes. The pop star also has two hair and makeup people, a producer and an assistant. As a result, Levine and fellow judge Blake Shelton have apparently formed an alliance against Aguilera.

Despite the alleged bad feelings, Aguilera and Levine are reportedly working together on a track that will be released next week, the story says.

Levine’s representative said the report of tensions is "absolutely false," while Aguilera’s rep declined to comment, the story adds.

  1. Sounds like some new management is in order for Mr. Levine. Christine’s did the job very well – can’t knock good negotiating skills after the fact.

  3. I think that Everyone should be making Equal $. I know christina is a big Star, but at least give them $100,000 each then, or more if they are worth it, and I think Adam, and Blake are. Change Management! GIGI
