Bloomberg has named an ABC News executive to take over running its U.S. television operations, according to a report on TVNewser.com

Andrew Morse will oversee editorial, programming, operations and development in the U.S. for Bloomberg Television, the company’s 24-hour cable news network, the story says. He will report to Bloomberg Media Group CEO Andy Lack.

Morse was most recently on the ABC News Digital team and has also served as the executive producer of ABC’s "Good Morning America."

The job at Bloomberg opened up when its previous TV chief David Rhodes was named president of CBS News.
