"Glee" co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy said the show’s third season will focus on "character, character, character"–and he added a surprising comment about guest stars, TVLine.com reported.
Murphy said the Fox show will eliminate guest stars, according to the story. The news is a surprise considering that “Glee” has built a tradition of featuring high-profile guests.
The show will also feature fewer songs, Murphy said. “We’re writing stuff this year for [characters] who haven’t had those big stories,” he said.
Jane Lynch’s Sue Sylvester will have a 20-episode story arc, as the show’s creators decided "It’s a little tired for Sue to be constantly trying to destroy the glee club,” Murphy said.
