HBO’s WikiLeaks movie has hired Rowan Joffe, the writer of "28 Weeks Later," "The American" and other films, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed blog.

The project, a co-production with the BBC, has also tapped Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall as producers. The pair have previously both worked as producers on "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "The Last Airbender," "The Bourne Ultimatum" and other films.

Two other projects about WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange are also in the works, although they are feature films from DreamWorks and Universal, the piece notes.

  1. Somebody get Bill Hader to play Assange in one of these films. He’s way more entertaining than the real guy!
