Jessica Simpson, who has been keeping busy with movies, music, TV and a fashion career since she famously got confused about Chicken of the Sea tuna on “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica,” has another high-profile TV job lined up, reports TVLine.com.
Simpson will get back to reality television for a role on NBC’s "Fashion Star," which some observers say owes a lot to “Project Runway.”
Simpson will work as a "celebrity mentor" to a group of 14 designers who are competing on the show to create their own fashion lines. The show is hosted and executive produced by Elle Macpherson, with no debut date scheduled yet, the piece adds.
Among her many projects, Simpson has recently hosted VH1’s “The Price of Beauty.”
