After serving 35 days of home confinement, actress Lindsay Lohan was released from house arrest for misdemeanor necklace theft, reports People.com.

Lohan was released just before her 25th birthday on July 2.

"She completed her home detention today and she’s now back under the supervision of the courts and probation," sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

The actress will likely continue to perform community service at a downtown L.A. women’s shelter, and will begin janitorial duty at the L.A. County Morgue, the story notes. Lohan is on probation for the next three years related to her two DUI cases, the piece notes.
