Los Angeles police have arrested a man who became a household name with young TV viewers in the early 1990s with his role in the MTV reality show "The Real World," reports the Los Angeles Times’ L.A. Now blog.
David Edward "Puck" Rainey was arrested in a domestic violence case, according to the story. Rainey, 42, was booked on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. He was in custody at the Los Angeles County Men’s Central Jail and was scheduled to be in court on July 6.
Rainey appeared on the third season of "The Real World," which was set in San Francisco, and became known for his antics and for getting kicked out of the cast’s group house. The charges are the latest in what the story says is a series of domestic violence-related arrests that span almost a decade.
