NBC’s "The Voice" is planning a live concert tour this summer, although it appears the show’s superstar judges may not be part of it because of compensation issues, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show’s eight finalists–Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton, Javier Colon, Nakia, Xenia, Casey Weston and Frenchie Davis–will be featured on the tour, the story notes. But the show’s four coaches, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, aren’t part of it as talks seemingly broke down over pay.

The tour might help NBC bring in more revenue from a show that has become one of its biggest successes in recent years, the piece says.

  1. Amazingly enough the network got lucky by copying some of the AI format. NBC would never have tried a show like this had not someone broke new ground for them.
This fact alone is why the WB channel lags in quality entertainment.
