"iCarly,’ one of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows, will feature a guest appearance by someone who lives at the White House, reports the Associated Press

Michelle Obama will appear on the show to promote Joining Forces, an initiative aimed at building support for military families.

Here’s the plot set-up for the episode: When the best friends of the show’s main character, Carly, set up a Web chat so that she can talk to her dad–a colonel serving overseas in the military–Michelle Obama finds out and comes to have a "chat with them in the most positive way possible," according to network President Cyma Zarghami.

The episode was written especially for Obama and the Joining Forces initiative by "iCarly" creator and executive producer Dan Schneider, the story adds.
