Thursday Ratings: Fox Squeezes Out a Win on a Slow Night

On a night when almost no new episodes of shows aired on network television, Fox’s fresh episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" won the night, TVbytheNumbers.com reported.

Fox came out with a narrow win for the night overall, averaging a 1.6 rating in adults 18-49, ahead of ABC (1.5 average), CBS (1.5), Univision (1.2) and NBC (0.9). CBS topped the list in total viewers, averaging 7.2 million to 5.0 million for ABC, 4.8 million for Fox, 3.0 million for Univision and 2.6 million for NBC.

At 8 p.m. the Fox dance show averaged a 2.1 in the 18-49 demographic. The only other fresh program for the night was NBC’s back-to-back showings of "Love Bites" at 10 p.m. and 10:30. The two episodes had a 0.9 and a 1.0, respectively, in the 18-49 demographic.
