Bill O’Reilly, the host of ‘The O’Reilly Factor" on Fox News, tells Newsweek that he believes he has "more power than anybody other than the president."

"I can get things changed, quickly,” he said, according to the story. “I don’t have to go through the legislative process; I don’t have to do any of that. I can just bring it to the people, and say, look, this has gotta be dealt with.”

Nevertheless, O’Reilly said he has been trying for years to get former Vice President Dick Cheney to appear on his show, and is still trying, even years after Cheney left office. O’Reilly says that his tough questioning may be why Cheney has avoided his program.

"I’ve watched four or five of his interviews — I mean, it’s all cupcakes, you know?" O’Reilly said, according to the story. "I ask ’em questions, all right? Obama. I mean, when Obama sits with me, he doesn’t know what the hell’s coming, and it’s exciting. It’s exciting.”
