Emmy-winning actress Melissa McCarthy, a star of CBS’s "Mike & Molly," is creating a new series for the network, reports TheWrap.com.
The untitled series would focus on a woman starting her life over after a midlife crisis, the story notes, pointing out that McCarthy is 41. She’s co-executive producing and writing with her husband, Ben Falcone, the story says.
Warner Bros. TV, which handles "Mike & Molly, is producing the project, the report adds.
