Glenn Beck on Track to Bring In $20 Million After Leaving Fox News

Glenn Beck’s Internet-only network GBTV is on track to bring in $20 million in revenue in its debut year, according to The Wall Street Journal. (Please note that The WSJ is behind a pay wall and not all readers may be able to access the story.)

That means that Beck could make substantially more than the $2.5 million salary he earned at Fox News, since he owns both his new daily show and the network, the story says. GBTV’s subscribers have grown to more than 230,000 people, although the show hasn’t even started yet, the piece adds.

That’s still far fewer than the 2.2 million daily viewers who tuned in to his Fox program, the story points out. Yet it’s more than the 156,000 people who tuned in to Oprah Winfrey’s OWN in June, the piece adds.
