ABC has given a put pilot commitment to a firehouse comedy from Peter Tolan, who co-created the firefighter drama "Rescue Me" with Denis Leary, reports Deadline.com.

The project, called "Angela’s Bachelors," will be set at a Boston firehouse and is based on a book called "Angelina’s Bachelors: A Novel With Food" by Brian O’Reilly, the story notes. The book focuses on a chef who winds up cooking for men in a local Boston firehouse, the piece adds.
