ABC has ordered a single-camera comedy focusing on two culturally diverse families who are learning to co-exist because of a marriage uniting the families, Deadline.com reports.
The two families are Chinese and Irish/Italian. The sitcom, “No. One Son,” comes from writer Cindy Caponera (“Saturday Night Live”), Lisa Ling and DreamWorks TV, with ABC Studios producing, the story reports.
Caponera is executive producing along with Ling and DreamWorks’ Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank, the story notes.
