Fox has ordered a script for a multicamera sitcom from an actor known for his role in “MAD TV” and seen more recently as William Shatner’s son on "$#*! My Dad Says," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show from Will Sasso is "All-Americans." It focuses on a conservative U.S. Army Ranger who returns from a 10-year stint in the Middle East to discover that his little brother — and only remaining family member — has become a liberal street artist.

The project is from Werner Entertainment and Warner Bros. TV, the story notes. Sasso is co-writing and co-executive producing the show with Chad Kultgen. "Roseanne" vet Tom Werner will executive produce along with Mike Clements, who did "The Life & Times of Tim."

  1. If the show is anywhere as funny as Will Sasso, I’m sold! He was one of my favorites on MadTV.
