All DVDs and Blu-ray discs in the "Harry Potter" series will be yanked from the shelves Dec. 29, following a strategy made famous by Disney with its classic animation titles, reports TheWrap.com.
The last major "Potter" release will be the final film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2," due out Nov. 11. At the same time, Warner Bros. will release an eight-film boxed set containing all of the "Potter" pictures.
The moratorium affects only DVDs and Blu-rays, Warner Bros. said. It will not be applied to VOD or digital copies of the films, according to the report.
