One of the former stars of the hit NBC comedy “Friends” is back in business with the Peacock Network, Deadline.com reports. Courteney Cox, together with her ex and producing partner David Arquette, is developing an ensemble comedy for the network, the story reports.
The project has some parallels with “Friends.” The new show, “Ten Years,” chronicles relationships among a group of friends over a 10-year period — the same length of time that the six friends tracked in “Friends” were on the air, the story notes.
The show is written by “According to Jim’s” Howard J. Morris, with Morris Cox and Arquette executive producing, the story says. It comes from ABC Studios.
