Singer Marie Osmond, who often performs with brother Donny and starred with him in the "Donny & Marie" television show, was hospitalized last week in Las Vegas suffering with a lung problem, reports People.
She had tightness in her lungs and checked into the hospital for treatment before being released a few hours later. "I’m fine. I had a cough. I’m doing really well. It was a big deal that was made from nothing," the 52-year-old singer told the publication.
By Saturday, she was seemingly in good shape at a Flamingo Hotel event in which she signed autographs to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her doll collection, which is a big seller on QVC.
Before that event she joked about what she perceived as media overreaction to her hospitalization. People reported that the singer tweeted: "Getting ready for the doll signing. Should I wear red to be festive???.or just stay in my hospital gown since I’m in a coma!! ? 😉 LOL."
Recently, Marie and brother Donny have appeared in commercials suggesting they will be on ABC’s broadcast of the CMA Awards Nov. 9.
