Fortune magazine’s highly anticipated list of "40 Under 40: Business’s Hottest Rising Stars" is out, and only two executives on the list are from a broadcast or cable network.
Frist, ranked No. 14, is Cesar Conde, 37, president of Univision Networks.
The other network executive who made the list is CBS News President David Rhodes, also 37. He’s ranked No 17.
But there are others who are connected with media or advertising.
Ranked right above Conde is independent entrepreneur, host of "American Idol," TV producer and radio personality Ryan Seacrest, 36.
The only other on-air TV personality on the list is CNN host Erin Burnett, 35, who is ranked No. 33.
Both Facebook and Google place two executives each on list.
