In case you missed it, Shannon Tweed said yes. That was the worst-kept secret of the A&E reality show “Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels,” which tried to keep viewers in suspense, cliffhanger-style, after Simmons finally proposed.
Now the pair have been married — and the wedding was taped for an upcoming episode of the show, reports US Magazine.
Simmons, who’s the bass player for the rock band KISS, and Tweed had their nuptials Saturday, with a wedding episode of the show planned for later in October, according to the story.
Simmons, 62, proposed to Tweed, 54, on the season finale of the reality show in July. The pair have been together for 28 years and have two children, 22-year-old Nick and 19-year-old Sophie, the piece notes.
Among the more than 400 wedding guests at the Beverly Hills Hotel were Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher and the other members of KISS, the story reports.
