Univision has brokered a deal to have streaming service Hulu provide its popular Spanish-language telenovelas, variety shows and reality programs to viewers online, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Company Town blog.
Univision will make some of its prime-time shows available on ad-supported Hulu.com a day after the show’s initial airing, the story says. For subscribers of Hulu.com’s $7.99-per-month service Hulu Plus, a more extensive selection will be available.
"This is the first time we are making this content available online," said Tonia O’Connor, Univision Communications’ president of distribution and sales.
