NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” improved on its ratings in week two, based on household figures for metered markets, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hosted by Melissa McCarthy, the Emmy-winning star of CBS’s "Mike & Molly," the episode drew a 5.2 rating/13 share, a 2% increase over Alec Baldwin’s season opener, which drew a 5.1 rating/13 share, the piece notes.
The latest episode was up 8% from the same night a year earlier, the story reports.
McCarthy’s skits included one in which she sexually harasses a co-worker by making out with a balloon animal she says he sent her, the piece adds.
