Another Reality Star, Another Lawsuit

Just one day after word surfaced that “Jersey Shore’s” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was suing to end her relationship with a licensing firm, as TVWeek reported yesterday, another of the show’s stars is headed to court.

"Jersey Shore’s" Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is suing Abercrombie & Fitch for $4 million, claiming the clothing chain stole his catch phrase "GTL" and profited from his name, reports EW.com’s PopWatch blog.

The Situation alleges that Abercrombie "significantly profited" from its August press release that offered to pay the reality TV star to wear another brand of clothing, the piece says.

The star is also upset at the clothing line’s use of "GTL" on its clothing, with the store selling T-shirts with phrases such as "GTL … You Know the Deal" and "The Fitchuation," the story adds.

"GTL" refers to the Situation’s mantra of "Gym, Tan, Laundry."

Abercrombie didn’t immediately respond to an email seeking comment, the story adds.
