The host of a prime-time HLN show will leave the network at the end of the year, vacating the network’s second-highest-rated show, Deadline.com reports.

Joy Behar is in the final year of her contract at the CNN sibling network and it felt like the right time for everyone for Behar to leave, the story says, citing an unnamed insider. "The Joy Behar Show" is the network’s second-highest-rated show after "Nancy Grace," the story points out.

Behar will continue as a co-host of "The View" on ABC, and will also look for new opportunities including at HLN’s parent company Turner Broadcasting, the piece adds.
