Bravo is expanding one of its shows to five nights a week starting in January, reports The New York Times’ Media Decoder blog.
The show is Andy Cohen’s "Watch What Happens Live," which currently airs on Sundays and Mondays. Starting Jan. 8 it will air five days a week including Sundays but excluding Fridays, the piece says.
Cohen’s show has performed well among female viewers. The show’s ratings have grown 20% this season and the network credits Cohen’s personality, which Frances Berwick, the president of Bravo, calls “spontaneous, cheeky and playful," the piece says.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cohen will shift from executive vice president of programming at Bravo to overseeing development and talent, helping to create new content for the cable network.
